Chessie chats to Bastian about making the move from Berlin to Melbourne, the balance between contract & commercial work & how he came to be Australia’s only distributor of traditional German work trousers. Bastian is the founder of Melbourne-based Fritz Print & Fritz wear. Fritz Print was founded in 2021 & is a print shop that specialises in water-based printing. Bastian began screen printing in Berlin 20 years ago and moved to Australia in 2012. After 2 decades of working in other printers studios, he took the decision to found his own business. Alongside Fritz Print Bastian also runs Fritz Wear an import business focused on bringing high-quality traditional German workwear to the people of Australia.
