QUESTIONS RELATED TO GARMENT PRINTING

Our minimum order is 100 units of each design. Both screen print and embroidery have set up costs. If you want to purchase a single item we would recommend looking into DTG printing. 

Stanley/Stella have lots of different garment styles and we can source anything from their website. When choosing a good blank garments we need to make sure they are from an ethical source and will provide a good quality surface to print onto. We like to print on Stanley/Stella garments as they have transparency around working conditions in their factories and have a range of accreditations that align with our business.

Screen setups are based on the amount of colours in your design, so a screen needs to be set up for each colour. If you are printing a light colour on a dark or light coloured garment, we strongly recommend printing an under base to keep the colours vibrant. This also counts as an additional screen/colour; so, for example, printing white on black would count as a 2 colour print. If you have any questions about how many screen setups your design might need, get in touch with us.

Sorry, it’s very unlikely that your screen, mesh count, emulsion and registration will fit in with our set up. If we haven’t provided the screen – we wont print it.

No, our screens are our equipment and we reclaim the screens for the next job. So the customer doesn’t own the equipment after the job is finished. You can buy your own screen for personal use but we don’t use screens that the customer owns in production. 

We have a strict minimum order of 100 units per design. If you are planning on placing a larger order in the future but want to see a sample first – you can pop into our retail shop ‘Blind Maggot’ to see the quality of our work. Alternativly, you can view our social media platforms to see how we print our garments and the quality that we maintain for all of our customers.

We require full upfront payment from all clients. Once payment is complete, we will then book your slot into our diary.

Unfortunatly not as this would stall production times. We are always happy to send some action shots once the job is complete though!

Sure thing! Everyone comes in different shapes and sizes. You can order a selection of sizes with all orders. 

Yep. Different shirt colours are a brilliant way of creating variety at a cheaper price, we ask that you order a minimum of 24 units per shirt colour. Changing ink colours are also great, however this does come at a small additional cost.

We no longer accept supplied garments as we can’t be sure they meet the high ethical standards we require for our work. 

Our standard turnaround time is 10-25 working days + shipping time. Turnaround time is only an estimate and is not guaranteed. It only starts when your order is paid for, we have all information to complete it, and we have the final approval from you via email. Complex designs or orders with extra add-ons may increase turnaround time. The most up-to-date turnaround time will be confirmed once the order is booked in. If you have a deadline for your order, you must let us know when placing your order and a rush fee may apply.  Any circumstances out of Squeegee & Ink’s control (i.e. weather delays, shipping errors by the supplier, etc.) may also require more time and are not factored in to the initial turn around time estimate.

We believe that our prices are very competitive given the skill and time we take during the production process. The quality of our work is first class. Give us the specifics of your order, we’ll assess whether we are offering the same service as the competitor, and we would hope to meet or beat it.

QUESTIONS RELATED TO SCREEN PRINT CONSUMABLES

When purchasing from the website there is an option to ‘collect from the studio’. We are open Tuesday – Friday, 10am – 5pm. Give us a call and we will make sure you can collect at a convenient time. We have trialled lots of couriers and postal services over the past 11 years. We have found the best overall service in DHL. If you can’t pop by the studio, we will happily send your delivery out via DHL.

We do not like to over promise. All of our deliveries are sent on a next day delivery service however it can take a couple of days to get your order processed in our studio. Providing we have the items in stock and you supply all the relevent information and payment in good time, we aim to get all orders posted as quickly as possible.
